Manifattura Tubi Gomma S.p.A. is specialized in the production of flexible hoses with the rigid mandrel technique. Founded in 1979 in Grisignano di Zocco (VI), it creates high-tech products for a wide range of industrial applications.
The MTG facilities occupy more than 30,000 sqm and all aspects of tube production, from raw materials to packaged products, are monitored and processed internally. Therefore, MTG guarantees full traceability of the production process.
Part of the facilities is occupied by a 1000 sqm large cleanroom class 8, certified according to ISO 14644-1. MTG can also guarantee that the entire manufacturing process of cleanroom products takes place in the cleanroom.
For decades, MTG has decided not to decentralize production. A branch of MTG, MTG Innovative Hose Solutions Asia Pacific, is located in Shanghai in order to better react to market demands. Despite this, the Chinese branch only deals with storage, crimping and distribution, and the products remain 100% made in Italy.
FIELDS OF APPLICATION
MTG is committed to supporting a strategy based on differentiation. The company works primarily with the pharmaceutical, food and chemical industries, but also supplies a variety of other products such as the railway industry, peristaltic pumps and valves and dredging and abrasive materials to name a few.
However, MTG’s strength lies in its customized and non-standard products. The MTG Technical & Sales department completes the customization process by guiding and designing with the customer the most suitable product for the specific case presented, and one of the strengths of the company is pre- and post-sales customer assistance. The company therefore focuses on flexibility in the design and development of innovative technical solutions.
Indeed, Research and Development is one of the resources MTG esteems the most, and product development and testing take place in its laboratory, the result of the challenges that MTG faces every day to increase its experience and skills in the sector. Over the years, the research and development department has followed the patenting of MTG compounds and technologies and, upon request, can provide third-party certifications for both individual compounds and various finished products.
Another aspect of great importance is fitting. The procedure to apply fittings is entirely carried out in MTG to ensure that a technically perfect hosee has an equally good performance once assembled. In fact, the choice of the most suitable fitting and the assembly technique have a great influence on the quality of the final performance of the assembly.
Our hoses comply with USP Class VI, ISO 10993, European Pharmacopoeia 3.1.9, EU Regulation no. 10/2011, BfR Recommendations, M.D. 21/03/73, FDA Standards, 3-A Sanitary Standards n.18-03-Class I and II, I 3-A Sanitary Standards n.20-27, Technische Universität München WEIHENSTEPHAN, and many others.

MTG is certified ISO 9001:2015, which ensures an efficient management of the organization and a continuous design improvement of current and future products.
The company is aware of the impact that its activities may have on the environment; therefore its products are manufactured in accordance with the environmental company policy and the international standards ISO 14001:2015.
Also Manifattura Tubi Gomma S.p.A. undertakes to keep the working environment safe and healthy. Its aim is to improve the processes and to perform inspections in order to prevent accidents and diseases at work.
In 2020 MTG has obtained the ISO 45001:2018 (ex OHSAS 18001:2007) certification.
