CORD/46N-AB Esp7

CORD/46N-AB (Esp7) is a rubber hose for coupling or connecting continuous pneumatic brake lines of railway or tramway vehicles.

The hose complies with UNI EN 45545-2:2020 and UNI EN 45545-2:2023 requirements (Fire protection on railway vehicles) for Hazard Levels HL1, HL2, and HL3 (requirement sets R22 and R23).

Construcion

Hose manufactured with MTG rubber code 46N.

TUBE

  • Synthetic rubber, self-extinguishing, smooth, black colour, resistant to contact with fats and mineral oils.

REINFORCEMENT

  • Polyester plies.

COVER

  • Synthetic rubber, self-extinguishing, smooth, cloth finish, black colour, resistant to ozone, weather and contact with fats and mineral oils.

Temperatures

  • From -30°C up to +100°C.

LENGTH

  • 40m coils.
  • Hoses can also be supplied in pre-cut service lengths with flared ends, or fitted with Band-it clamps upon request

PRESSURE

  • Test: 22.5 bar.
  • Burst: 75 bar.
