CORD/CAVI/SIL-NA/8 is a rubber hose for cooling water circulation in the engines.

Designed for the heating of cabs and wagons of railcars, water inlet and discharge from the engine to the boiler, three-way-piping, transport of cooling water to the gearbox system.

Good resistance to mineral oil mist.

Main benefits

The hose complies with UNI EN 45545-2:2020 requirements (Fire protection on railway vehicles) for Hazard Levels HL1, HL2 (requirement set R22) and HL1, HL2, and HL3 (requirement set R23).

Construcion

TUBE

Silicone rubber, self-extinguishing, black colour, smooth.

REINFORCEMENT

Tear resistant plies of synthetic cord.

COVER

Silicone rubber, black, smooth, self-extinguishing, cloth finish.

Temperatures

From -60°C up to +200°C.

  • ≥ 5000 V/mm.

LENGTH

  • Standard supply in pre-cut service lengths, or upon request in 19.5m coils with a MINIMUM BATCH of 39m or multiples thereof.
