Food hose of latest generation, specifically designed to meet the demanding requirements of the beer processing industry.

Suitable for conveying raw, pasteurized and organic beer, high quality alcoholic beverages and soft drinks such as wine, spirits and pure alcohol up to 98%.

UNIFOOD/SD/PERM-PROOF/BLUE is also suitable for fatty liquid foodstuffs.

Main benefits

  • The improved chemical composition of the new tube, made of odourless and tasteless modified polyethylene, ensures contamination-free transport of the product conveyed, thus preserving the original organoleptic properties.
  • The special modified polyethylene tube ensures utmost resistance to heavy-duty cleaning processes, including the use of chemicals and high temperatures.
  • The reinforced structure makes the hose strong and resistant to heavy-duty applications.
  • UNIFOOD/SD/PERM-PROOF/BLUE complies with the Regulations EC 1935/2004 and 2023/2006/EC (GMP). The MTG production cycle is free from animal derived ingredients, phthalates, adipates and materials subject to restrictions according to the current European Regulation EC 1907/2006 (REACH).

Construcion

TUBE

  • Modified polyethylene, light colour, odourless and tasteless, mirror-smooth.
  • Complying with FDA Standards, Regulation EU 10/2011, D.M. 21/03/73 and following amendments.

REINFORCEMENT

  • Plies of synthetic cord.
  • Embedded steel helix wire.
  • If required, a “CR” version with built-in copper wires is available. (version: UNIFOOD/SD/PERM-PROOF/cr).

COVER

  • Synthetic rubber, blue colour, smooth, cloth finish.
  • Resistant to abrasion, weather and short contact with edible oils and fatty foodstuffs.

Safety factors

  • ≥ 3 times working pressure.

Temperatures

  • From -35°C up to +110°C depending on conveyed media.
  • Peaks at +140°C for sterilizations for a maximum time of 30 minutes.
